Online applications are being invited for courses starting in July 2025 for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. Applications are also being accepted for the NCC Special Entry Scheme (for the Flying Branch).

AFCAT 2024 Recruitment Education Qualification

- Candidate should have the mandatory pass with a minimum of 50% marks each in maths and physics at 10 + 2 level. AND
- Graduation with a minimum 3 years degree course in any discipline from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
- BE/ B.tech degree (4-year course) from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
- The candidate who has cleared section A & B examination of associate membership of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from any organized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
- Candidate with a minimum of 50% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10 + 2 level and a minimum of 4 Years degree graduation / integrated postgraduate qualification in Engineering Technology from any recognized University.
- Clear sections A and B examination of associate membership of the Institute of Engineers (India) OR Aeronautics Society of India or Graduate membership in of Institute of Electronic and Telecommunication engineer by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks.
Weapon System (WS) Branch
- Candidate should have the mandatory pass with a minimum of 50% marks each in maths and physics at 10 + 2 level.
- Graduation with a minimum 3 years degree course in any discipline from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
- BE/ B.tech degree (4-year course) from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Administration & Logistics
- Pass 10+2 and graduate degree (Minimum 3-year degree course)in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum 60% of marks equivalent or Clear sections A and B examination of associate membership of the Institute of Engineers (India) OR Aeronautics Society of India or Graduate membership in of Institute of Electronic and Telecommunication engineer by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks
Account Branch
Pass 10+2 and graduate degree done from in any stream of the following streams with 60% marks or from a recognized university.
- B.com Degree (Minimum 3 years course)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (with specialization in finance) / Bachelor of Management Studies (with specialization in finance) Bachelor of Business Study (with specialization in finance).
- Qualified CA/CMA/CS/CFA
- B.sc (with specialization in finance)
Education
Pass 10 + 2 and post graduation with 50% marks in any discipline including integrated courses offering PG (Single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry) and with 60% marks in graduation in any discipline.
Meteorology
Pass 10 + 2 B.sc with Physics and Mathematics with Minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or 4 Year Degree graduation in Engineering / Technology discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the Relevant Streams.
